I have to agree with the other reviewer about the poor design of this toy. The arms do not lock into place and light play with cause them to move out of alignment. Another reviewer also stated that the figure will not roll when transformed into car due to chest piece. This is true of mine as well and the chest piece had to be popped off. The transformation is overly complicated and the picture directions on the back of package are poor. There are a lot of better figures out there that you can spend your money on for a child. I do not know how this figure made is past a kid research panel to begin with. I'm not going to bother giving this figure to a young family member. I can see the look on his face when I tell him it it just for display only and that he will not like playing with it. I think a small child will easily break and or become easily discouraged with this figure. Jazz and Bumblebee from this line are far superior.It had a very good vehicle mode, the only problem is that the doors & hood are a different tone of red, so it looks kind of off; the transformation is not to complicated but not as simple as some of the other RID toys; the robot mode is nice, but it would have been better with a solid neck, a nicer had sculpt and some pegs to lock in to place some of the pieces when in robot mode. All in all it's a nice figure.An overall solid figure, matching his appearance in the cartoon. He's got some neat tricks in his transformation process, but has difficulty getting his chest to lock together properly. The sword makes for a nice accessory, but I wish he had a gun. However, that's endemic of the RiD line as a whole, rather than a specific chastisement of the figure itself.This toy lacks detail, its color scheme is inconsistent, being patchy were different kinds of plastic have been painted. the areas around his shoulders are delicate and fiddly, and don't hinge well. Other then that, he stands up well, looks good in vehicle mode, and is well articulated and very pose able. The only action figure in the series i was disappointed with.It was hard to figure out how to transform this at first. It's too hard for my son, so we put it away until he's older and not liable to break it by trying to force it to transform.A bit difficult to transform, even for parents. The picture directions on package are hard to see. Might be a little advanced for my 5year old but he likes em so what the heckEven with instructions it's super hard to transform. I wouldn't recommend for anyone under 8. We have a few from this set and this is the only one my 4 year old and 10 year old can't do.Not much to add that previous reviewers haven't already covered. One of the legs/wheels came off within 5 minutes of gentle use (by an adult) and continues to pop off whenever my son tries to manipulate it. It is very cheaply made, difficult to transform and extremely frustrating for a child that really wants to love it.
