My wife and I have been following Mr. Madan on Facebook for some time and we both hoped that one day he would come out with a book of his creations. This far exceeded our expectations. Instead of a simple coffee table art book, A Rupture of Robots is a whimsical, interactive smorgasbord of the most wondrous robots ever created. First, the art. I cannot understate how much we enjoy his sketches. You could easily build an entire story around each of them, they are fun, funny and fantastic. Second, the book itself. When I saw he was marketing it as a possible coloring book I wasn't sure. I mean, his shading was already perfect. However, in this format I can see it. However, I would make one suggestion. I think that it would be awesome for kids (or the kid in all of us) to use the blank page on the left of each sketch to create your own robot scene that adds or contributes to the story in the original. Draw it, color it, come up with the story. I can't imagine a better way to spend many hours of creative fun with your kids. So, all in all, this is definitely a five star book and I would highly recommend it!- Some Writer Who Wishes His Imagined Worlds Could be Sketched in A Book
